An instrumental version plays while playing as Super Sonic.Ī remix of the song was produced by Tomoya Ohtani as the main theme for Sonic Colors: Ultimate. A 16-bit version plays during the true final boss fight with Nega-Mother Wisp in the Nintendo DS version. An orchestral version is played during the second phase of the final boss fight with the Nega-Wisp Armor. It also plays an 8-bit-style version when two Wisps are used at the same time in two-player mode. The song is sung from Sonic's perspective, referencing many features and themes including the story present throughout the game.
